Chocolate Chip Banana Bread Recipe

Yield: 1 Loaf (8-10 Servings)

 

INGREDIENTS

 

All Purpose Flour - 1 1/2 cups
Instant Rolled Oats - 1/2 cup
Brown Sugar - 1/2 cup 
Salt - 1/8 tsp
Baking Soda - 1/2 tsp
Baking Powder - 3 tsp
Ripe Bananas - 4
Egg - 1 Large 
Skimmed Milk - 6 fl oz
Vegetable Oil - 2 tbsp 
(Optional) Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips - 1/4 cup
(Optional) White Chocolate Chips - 1/4 cup 

 

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, oats, sugar, salt, baking soda and baking powder.

  3. Set aside.

  4. In a separate bowl, mash bananas.

  5. Add egg, milk and oil to bananas.

  6. Add dry ingredients to wet.

  7. Add both chocolate chips to batter.

  8. Pour batter into a greased baking dish (9” by 5”).

  9. Bake for 50 minutes.

  10. Allow to cool in loaf pan for 15 minutes.

  11. Remove from loaf pan and let cool completely before slicing.

  12. Enjoy!
