Trini Macaroni Salad Recipe

Yield: 8 - 10 Servings

 

INGREDIENTS

 

Elbow Macaroni - 400g

Salt - 1 tsp or to taste

Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp

Onion Powder - 1 tsp

Garlic Powder - 1 tsp

Brown Sugar - 1/4 cup

Sweet Pepper - 1/4 cup (diced)

Celery - 1/4 cup (roughly chopped)

Boiled Eggs - 2 large (diced)

Mayonnaise - 2 cups

 

METHOD

 

  1. Add pasta to salted boiling water and allow to cook until tender (about 7 to 8 minutes).

  2. Strain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.

  3. Once drained, place in a bowl and add salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder and sugar.

  4. Mix until fully incorporated.

  5. Add celery, sweet pepper and eggs and mix until fully incorporated.

  6. Lastly, add mayonnaise and mix until fully incorporated.

  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!
