Potato Chips Recipe by Chef Jeremy Lovell

Yield - Serves 6 Persons

Cook time: 15 minutes

Prep time -30 minutes

Marinating time – Approx. 2 hours


 Large Potato – 1 lb.

 Lime Juice – 3 tbsp

 White Vinegar – 2 tbsp

 Salt – 2 tbsp

 Fresh Parsley – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)

 Oil for Deep Frying – Approx. 6 cups


 Wash potatoes (You can choose to leave the skin on or not).

 Using a mandolin or sharp knife, slice the potatoes as thinly as possible and place in large bowl.

 Add vinegar, salt and water to potatoes (just enough to cover).

 Place in refrigerator and allow potatoes to marinate for at least 2 hours.

Frying of potato:

 Right before marinating time is up, place a large frying pan onto stove.

 Turn heat on high and allow to heat up.

 After potato has marinated remove from water and squeeze dry.

 Add some of the potatoes to oil as illustrated in the video.

 Fry until golden brown. Take out and place in metal bowl, sprinkle with chopped parsley and extra salt if needed.
