Barfi Recipe

INGREDIENTS 

2 Cups Full Cream Powder Milk

3 Fluid Ounces Heavy Cream

1 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar

1 1/2 Tbsp Grated Ginger

1/4 Cup Water

1 Tsp Cardamon

1 Dash Nutmeg

1/4 Tsp All Spice Powder

Multicolored Sprinkles

METHOD

  1. Mix the powder milk and heavy cream until it starts to develop a dry, crumbly texture.

  2. Grease a baking dish and add some sprinkles.

  3. Bring to a boil the water, sugar, ginger, cardamon, nutmeg and all spice. (This process must take no more than 6-8 minutes)

  4. Pour over the milk and mix quickly.

  5. Pour mixture into greased dish.

  6. Add more sprinkles on the top.

  7. Let set.

  8. Cut before fully set.

  9. Once cut, let sit overnight in the refrigerator.
