Trini Gulab Jamoon Recipe

INGREDIENTS 

 

1/4 Lb Margarine/Butter

1 1/2 Cups Full Cream Powder Milk

2 Cups All Purpose Flour

1 Tsp Cardamon

1 Dash Nutmeg

1/4 Tsp All Spice Powder

1/2 Cup Water

For Syrup:

1 Cup Sugar

1 Tbsp Grated Ginger

1 Dash Cardamon

1 Dash Nutmeg

1/4 Cup Water

METHOD

 

  1. Mix powder milk, flour, cardamon, nutmeg, all spice, Blue Band Margarine and water.

  2. Shape into desired forms and sizes to fry.

  3. Heat oil to 350°F and fry.

  4. Bring syrup ingredients to a boil. Mix until sugar is dissolved.

  5. Soak fried dough in syrup and enjoy!
