Ingredients
Cream Cheese - 8oz (room temp.)
Large Egg - 1 + 3 (beaten)
Granulated Sugar - 1/4 cup
Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp + 1 tsp
Unsalted Butter - 1 cup
Grated Cocoa Ball or Cocoa Powder - 1/2 cup
Dark Chocolate Chips - 1/3 cup + 3/4 cup
Instant Coffee - 2 tsp
Brown Sugar - 1/2 cup
Powdered Sugar - 1 3/4 cups
AP Flour - 1/2 cup
Sea Salt - Pinch
Method
Preheat your oven to 350F
Grease and line your 8 X 8 inch pan with parchment or wax paper.
Set aside.
Whisk cream cheese, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla & granulated sugar.
Set aside.
Brown butter in your saucepan over medium to low heat.
Transfer to a heat proof bowl.
Add grated cocoa, oil, vanilla & 1/3 dark chocolate.
Once fully incorporated, set aside and let mixture cool down to room temperature.
Which remaining eggs & brown sugar until mixture turns into a light pale color.
Add powdered sugar and mix until combined.
Add butter mixture and mix until combined.
Add four & remaining chocolate.
Transfer half of your brownie mix to your prepared pan.
Set aside 1/2 cup of cream cheese mixture & add the rest onto your brownie mixture.
Top with remaining brownie batter before adding the reserved cream cheese mixture.
Bake for 40-45 minutes.
Let cool completely before cutting.
