Welcome to Episode Two of our brand-new series “Taste It Nuh”: where we explore the REAL flavors of Trinidad and Tobago! 🇹🇹
In this episode, Jr Lee heads to the Flava Carnival Culinary Village inside the Queen’s Park Savannah, hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Community Development and the National Carnival Commission (NCC). This vibrant event celebrates the best of Trinidad and Tobago street food and traditional cuisine, all wrapped up in the excitement of the Carnival season.
From doubles, corn soup, and pholourie, to stewed chicken with rice and peas, bake and shark, and even chicken foot souse, Jr Lee tastes it all! He cools down with barbasop ice cream and fresh portugal juice, and bites into some crispy saltfish accra, the perfect mix of sweet, savory, and spicy Trini goodness.
👉 Watch as Jr Lee chats with local vendors, dives into authentic flavors, and shares what makes our Trinidad Carnival food culture so unique.

Looks like the quality of street food at carnival time in the QPS has greatly improved....I fuh one will not eat there again.
