Ingredients

* 3 1/2 cups Lion Brand Self Rising Flour

* 1 tsp Lion Brand Baking Powder

* 1 ½ cups warm milk

* 4 tbsp melted butter

* 1 tsp sugar

* ½ tsp salt

* 1 ½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or mixed)

* 2 tbsp chopped herbs (parsley, chive, thyme)

* 2 garlic cloves, minced

* Optional: pinch paprika or pepper flakes

* Extra melted butter for brushing


Method

1. In a bowl, whisk together self rising flour and baking powder.

2. Add warm milk, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.

3. Knead lightly for 1–2 minutes until smooth.

4. Let dough rest for 10–15 minutes (not a rise — just relaxes the gluten for softer, fluffier layers).

5. Divide dough into 10 to 12 even pieces, shape into balls and placing your greased pan.

6. Brush with melted garlic butter, then sprinkle cheese.

7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25–30 minutes until golden and puffed.

8. Brush with extra melted butter and herbs before serving.
