Ingredients
Dried Green Lentils â 1 cup (washed)
Basmati Rice â Âź cup (washed)
Room Temperature Water â 16 oz
Garam Masala â Âź tsp
Salt â ½ tsp
Yogurt â 2 tbsp
Chadon Beni â 1/8 cup
Dried Chickpeas â 1 cup
Basmati Rice â Âź cup
Room Temperature Water â 24 oz
Turmeric Powder â ½ tsp
Geera (Cumin) Powder â Âź tsp
Fermented Pimento Sauce â 1 tsp
Salt â ½ tsp
Dried Red Lentils â 1 cup
Basmati Rice â Âź cup
Water â 16 oz
Tomato Paste â ½ tbsp
Fermented Pimento Sauce â 2 tsp
Geera (Cumin) Powder â ½ tsp
Salt â ½ tsp
Method
1. Soak peas and rice in water overnight (8 to 10 hours).
2. Add remaining ingredients before blending to a smooth and thick consistency.
3. Heat your 12-inch non-stick frying over low heat (about 4 minutes).
4. Add coconut oil or cooking spray.
5. Pour 1/3 cup of batter onto your frying pan and allow to cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
