Breadfruit - 1
Oil for frying - 3 cups
Corn Starch - 1/4 cup (optional)
Salt - to taste
Chadon Beni/Culantro - 1/4 cup (optional)
Peel and remove the core of the breadfruit.
Slice breadfruit into wedges.
Place in boiling water and allow to cook until tender (about 5-10 minutes depending on how ripe it is).
Drain and cool under cold water to stop the cooking process.
Heat oil to 350°F.
Slice breadfruit into thin slices.
Dredge breadfruit in cornstarch for a crispier chip.
Fry breadfruit until golden brown.
Season with salt and chadon beni.
