How To Make Trini Cocoa Tea/Hot Chocolate

Third-generation Chocolate Maker, Marley Montano, of Montanos' Chocolate Company stirs up a warm, delightful Cocoa Tea/Hot Chocolate:


2 cups milk (almond) 1 tbsp cocoa powder 6 oz Montanos' chocolate 2 tbsp brown sugar Splash vanilla extract 1 cinnamon stick Pinch of nutmeg Pinch of salt Dash of Angostura cocoa bitters (optional)


  1. Heat milk in a saucepan, whisk the cocoa powder.

  2. Then add sugar and chocolate, mix for 4 minutes until chocolate is melted.

  3. Then add rest of ingredients and mix.
