Lionfish Balls Recipe


Lionfish Fillet - 12 oz

Chive - 1/2 tbsp (Finely Chopped)

Chadon Beni - 1 tbsp (Finely Chopped)

Garlic - 1/2 tbsp (Finely Chopped)

Ginger - 1/2 tbsp (Finely Chopped)

Salt - 2 tsp

Black Pepper - 1 tsp

Mustard - 1 tbsp

Mayonnaise - 1/3 cup

Breadcrumbs - 1 cup (For breading only)


  1. Run fish fillet through your food processor until it forms a paste consistency.

  2. Transfer fish to a bowl and add all the other ingredients.

  3. Let sit for 10 minutes.

  4. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  5. Using your hand, form 1 inch balls.

  6. Roll balls in breadcrumbs and place on a greased baking sheet.

  7. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
