Cheesy Chicken Balls Recipe

Yield - 16 Balls

 

INGREDIENTS

 

Wish-Bone Sweet & Spicy Honey Mustard - 1
Minced Chicken Breast - 2 lbs 
Salt - 2 tsp
Black Pepper - 1 tsp
Onion Powder - 1/2 tsp
Bread - 2 slices
Milk - 1/4 cup
Chadon Beni (Culantro) - 1/2 cup
Chive - 1/3 cup
Garlic - 1 tbsp
Ginger - 1 tbsp
Eggs - 2 small or 1 large
New Zealand Cheddar - 1/2 lb
Breadcrumbs - 1 lb

 

METHOD

  1. Place bread in a bowl, add milk and allow to soak. 

  2. Place chicken in a bowl.

  3. Add salt, black pepper, onion powder, chadon beni, chive, garlic, ginger, egg and bread mixture.

  4. Mix together well, cover and let rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

  5. Cut sixteen 1/2 inch cubes of cheese.

  6. Set aside in the refrigerator.

  7. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  8. Divide the chicken mixture into sixteen equal balls.

  9. Place the cheese in the middle of each.

  10. Roll each in breadcrumbs.

  11. Place on a greased baking dish.

  12. Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.

  13. Serve with Wish-Bone Sweet & Spicy Honey Mustard, and enjoy!
